The Luther Rose Many don't know that Martin Luther himself designed this "summary of theology": Black Cross: The death of our sinful nature. Red Heart: The heart that is saved from death by "faith in the crucified". White Rose: The joy, comfort and pease of the faith. Sky-blue Field: The beginning of a "heavenly future joy". Golden Ring: The priceless treasure of Heaven that lasts forever.
