Baptism

"whoever believes and is baptized will be saved" (Mark 16:16 NIV)

The blue field signifies the waters of baptism. It symbolizes the washing away of our sins as we receive faith as promised by the Lord himself.

The shell is a common vessel used in baptism to help pour the water over the one being baptized. We at Trinity use a seashell from the waters of the Gulf of Mexico that is similar to the one used in this panel.

The 3 drops of water represent the 3 Persons of the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, into whom we are baptized.
